District Board

Welcome to your 2019-2020 MinnDak District Board!

Ranjani Hariharan

Hey Minndak! My name is Ranjani Hariharan (feel free to call me Jeni), and I'm very excited to serve you as your 2019-2020 District Governor. I am currently a senior at Woodbury High School, and have been a member of the Woodbury Key Club for the past three years and a member of the District Board for the past two.

I began my Key Club journey in my freshman year, during which I was the freshman grade representative. I later went on to be Lieutenant Governor of Division 7B during my sophomore year, and Liaison of Division 5 during my junior year. I am fortunate to have earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, based on my service in the fields of healthcare, education, and community service. Apart from Key Club, I am a dedicated Indian Classical Music singer. I am also a part of my school's National Honor Society chapter, Science Olympiad, and TEDx planning team.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns at gov@minndakkeyclub.org!

For the year I want to create a completed directory to have clubs within our district communicate with clubs in their area. Overall I want to help create a strong line of connection throughout MinnDak between individual clubs and the District Board.

Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world. We, meaning Key Clubbers and others of the K-Family, have done exactly that. We are working to better this world and restore what has been harmed.

A few goals that I have are to increase membership in the MinnDak District, strengthen the communication between my clubs, gain a stronger connection with our Kiwanis and Circle K clubs, give members recognition for the role they play in their club, and spread the message of the difference we make as Key Clubbers.

This year I’m a junior at WHS in Willmar, MN. This will be my third year being involved with Key Club, but my first year on the District Board. Besides Key Club, my life revolves around music (I listen to lots of genres all the time), singing (I’m in my school choir), dance (I’ve been a part of my school’s dance team for 3 years), but my favorite thing to do is watch sunrises and sunsets.

Hey Minndak! I’m Amara Thompson, the LTG for Division 7A! During my term as LTG, I hope to unite the clubs in my division as much as possible and do a division wide fundraiser for the Thirst Project. I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, I attend Columbia Heights High School as a sophomore. In school, I am in FPS, Yearbook, theatre, Band, Jazz band, pep band, maintain a 4.0, tennis, and I LOVE art! Whenever I want something customized I usually just paint it myself. District mascot

Milford Duck

What's QUACKing, MinnDak? My name is Milford Duck, and I am your 1953-∞ District Mascot. I am eager to serve as your mascot again for the 67th year in a row! During my term as MinnDak's Mascot, my goals are to inspire others to join Key Club, be the most iconic district mascot, and to instill MinnDak pride among all the Key Clubbers of the Minnesota-Dakotas District.

I'm a super senior for the 64th time at Pond High School in Division 0 (the best, nonexistent division). Besides Key Club, I am a part of Art Club (as a model), Choir, Student Council, Fishing Club, and swim team. In my free time, I enjoy flying, eating small fish and insects, quacking at the top of my lungs to Beyoncé, and hanging out with my fellow KCI mascots.

Sadly, I don’t have an email because typing is really hard with wings and feathers, but you can visit me at DCON and Fall Rally. Keep QUACKing, MinnDak!
