What Does the District Board Do?

What is the MinnDak District and how big is it? Key Club is comprised of districts, divisions, and individual clubs. Key Club International is made up of 33 district with more than 270,000 members and 5,300 clubs spanning across 37 countries.

Our district is the MinnDak District which includes Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. There are seven divisions in our district, but some are so large that we have split them so we have ten lieutenant governors, not seven. The district board consists of 14 members﹣10 LTGs and 4 executive positions﹣and is the linking piece between Key Club International and individual clubs.

The Lieutenant Governors communicate with individual clubs, send newsletters and updates, host meetings with presidents, and put on divisional rallies. The executive board is made up of our bulletin editor who runs the website, social media, and writes the MinnDak Quack. Our secretary takes minutes at district meetings, helps send out mailings, and reviews monthly reports. Our treasurer manages all dues and finances for our district. Finally, we have out District Governor who facilitates all of the board members who then aid all of the Key Clubs within their division, runs district meetings and events, and so much more.
